I just love how people come on here, and cry and complain about how bad the team sucks when they've lost a few games, but then when they are winning, they are all gung-ho for them. It's flipping hockey!!! There are like 75 games in a season, any given team is gonna lose some here and there. It doesn't mean they suck, it means they are human. The human body can only be pushed so far before it needs a break. So we may need a player or not, but don't say the team sucks after a few losses. There are far more worse teams in the league and in the hockey world where fans would really be happy to have a team like ours. I wouldn't trade them our players for anything just because I've seen what they are capable of. They will pick it back up.

Wow, No excuse for this. Losing 9-1 to ANYONE is unacceptable. Brutal, absolutely BRUTAL.

Wake up call!!! In the long run, maybe this pounding will be a good thing, remind them of what will happen if they don't pick it up and play hard. All's forgotten if they respond with consistently solid play.

I hear Kostadine was turning down fights left and right, which is why Cowan had to fight their 2 other tough guys. Lardner actually challenged Woods but it wasn't much of a fight.
I can't believe Kostadine would be turning down fights when your down by 8 goals, at this point he really doesn't add anything else to the team.
I would seriously expect some roster moves though, especially when Stillman is likely done long term, i think Kinnie's brains are scrambled, he's not the same player now.

Props to Lardner, but there is NO WAY he should be fighting a guy like Woods (not to mention Big Snake earlier this year.) Third man in or not, someone's gotta man up and get in there and help Lardner. He shouldn't be the one on the team having to play tough guy, especially against the league's legitimate enforcers.

im at a loss for words...
kind of reminds me of the red wing/canadiens (for our northern friends) game several years ago where detroit put the hurt on Pat Roy and he quit the team...
20-6 in the 1st period for shots is unacceptable... 16-14 in the 2nd period for shots is bearable... 8-14 in the 3rd period for shots is playing decent hockey...
what the hell happened in the first stanza? there was NO momentum from the get go (or so it appears)...
i dont know if this is so much a fighting issue as it is just a bad streak for the offense...
im not sure if scrambled isnt too harsh a word but i agree, he has seemed a bit lost out there the last couple of games ive seen...
stand tall guys, its not over yet...
