Looks like the roster moves did some good, should be even better with Flache in the lineup, and tougher.

I wouldn't really say the roster moves had anything to do with the win, as neither of the 2 had a hand in any of the goals. Nathe was +1 for the game, but none of them really did much. I just think the guys were sick of getting their butts handed to them the last few games and decided it was time to start playing again.

That's not really what i meant, i think it was more the moves getting made that shook the team up rather than the new guys' on ice performance. Sometimes it's just a new face in the locker room that sparks the team, just look at how we played after getting Margettie.

maybe PSYCHOLOGICALLY they had an impact on the level of play. if someone thinks they may have made themselves expendable based on their play or lack of play, then they step up and work harder...
someone said on one of these boards that we got a new defenseman who even though he moved teams, hes STILL the worst d-man in the league. what would that tell you? "hey im a better player than HE is, why is he playing and not me? maybe i better make it known through my play that im needed...
what do i know. i never really liked having to take psych...
im just glad we moved 2 points ahead and closer to the challengers...

I'm eating a little crow tonite, after the Hawks big win in Fort Wayne. I have to give credit when credit is due. They played a smart game .... didn't force anything and took advantage of some bad goaltending by the Komets. It sounds like Russo had an outstanding game.

Not to shabby Hawks, Lets see how we do against Bloomington, we havent played them in a long time, so it should be a good challenge for them. Good to see Russo come back and play Well as he does most the time, we got 2 good goalies and we just need the players infront of them to play together and get things rolling again!!!

stuckey was saying that 3 of our goals were pretty crappy as "in we got damned lucky" how is it we gave up 11 more shots that we took? jeez.... on a side note, muskegon has played through 30 minutes of powerplay time and failed to get a goal... good. i HATE bouchard... It was actually 10 minutes of powerplay time, and Ihate Bouchard too.

well QC DID have 30 minutes in penalties (per point streak) and thats what i went by when i posted...
i realize that some of that time could have been even strength for offsetting offenses...
i STILL hate bouchard...
