Wow has anyone noticed how many shots we're giving up... Lack of taking the body in our end is leading to a lot of good shots by Flint these last 2 games. You can't count on a hot goaltender everygame. We're playing with fire unless these guys start hitting! 95 shots the last 2 games is way too many! And we were playing Flint. Imagine how many shots (and goals) we'd have given up if it were Musky or Ft. Wayne. Most of the shots were allowing are from the tops of the circles to the blue line. Those are shots that any goalie is supposed to stop, especially since about 85% are seen shots. By that I mean that there is no traffic in front of the goalie. Not much to worry about when this is happening. Our goalies are making tremendous saves on bang bang type plays.

yeah we gave up 95 shots but the difference between them and us is only 37 (i know i know still bad but that means we had 57)...
what shocks ME and im surprised no one else has said anything but Turner got TWO GOALS last night. okay, one was an empty netter but didnt Kinnie and Bedard miss on about 5 or 6 empty net shots?
the komets eventually skunked the 'jacks. didnt see that coming. didnt help our cause any...

Russo had a close shot at an empty netter. It just went wide. Would have been cool for him to get.
