Was Larry less than sterling last nite.. 22 shots , 18 saves not very impressive! Sterling has been better I agree. But look at Boucher, he's less stellar than last year. 3 gaols one night and 5 goals the next night. Boucher better watch out for Haun.....

The scary part was our offense did so well and Cory Stillman really didn't do anything yet and Patrosso wasn't even in the lineup yet. then you must have missed Stillmans pass from the corner to ladner right in front of the net. Stillman will get better in time!! Right I did forget that but remember it now that you brought it up. But you know what I meant though lol. But it was the Mike Kinnie show last night.

In Sterling's defense I don't think he was 100% I know he has been battling a hernia injury I believe...

Never know Sterling ends up being hurt... lol Do you think Soli the goalie could lead us to the Turner Cup buddy. Or possibly Brad Smith could come back

Yep, New jerseys look real sharp! Numbers on back kinda plain, but much better than last year's.

I think the best part about the whole game was showing Fort Wayne we wouldnt be taking any of their Sh*t. Danko Mironovic starts some garbage with Bowman and I believe it was Kostadine who stepped in after Bowman was cheap shotted and of course Mironovic wanted nothing to do with that. He didnt pull any of his little antics after that. It was nice to see teammates stick up for guys in the right situations.

I really think Sterling lost his focus after he threw that punch to the Fort Wayne player driving his crease. He seemed so under control up to that point. Dont get me wrong, I think there is a time you have to defend yourself, but I thought his teammates were doing a great job of dealing with Fort Wayne's antics. Sterling, once he loses his cool, or becomes part of the battles, seems to lose his focus. Hopefully, he can just keep his mind on playing hockey and let his teammates take care of the other teams garbage.

i dont get to a lot of games (4 or 5 last year, but i have a 10 pack for this season) and we didnt win many of the games i attended but i still had a great time...
winning this game, agains Ft Wayne and being the season opener definitely makes it all worth while. my daughter (8yrs) likes the games when they are fast paced and of course loves the goals...
thanks to Hawkman for the great video of Mikes first fight. thats me clapping at the very end...
1,949 announced attendance...
