Would you support a North American Hockey League Team if it where to play in Port Huron?

I hate to say something like this because I love the Icehawks and the ownership and would hate to see them go. But if things continue to go like they are then I have to stop looking through the rosy red glasses and understand that things aren't going to work. Though lately we hit crowds of 2,300 and it gives me hope but at the end of the day you need to hit that every weekend game and it might just not happen.
Now this whole moving down a league actually intrigues me. To see younger kids playing and maybe more rough house fights that you do see in leagues lower down and really not having to worry about the whole money aspect of the business would be beautiful. But here are some questions.
1.) Would Mcmorran be to expensive, rent wise, for a team that low to stay alive in. I mean a whole new team in a lower league would really drop attendance to around 1,000 which is fine sense I don't think attendance is the biggest deal in these types of leagues but do these other teams in this league play in arenas that seat 3,000+ that would be filled no matter what and still have to pay the expensive rent.
and 2.) What owner would be willing to try again here in Port Huron. It would have to be somebody who just loves the game and not looking to make money. Someone I'm guessing local but who on earth would do that in this economy and actually have the money to make it stay alive more then 2 years??
The idea of moving down leagues is an interesting one. But theres so many questions right now who knows.

I'm not a big fan of junior hockey, so I doubt it would appeal to me. I'd probably check out a game or two, but that'd be about it. I've been following minor pro too long to give up on it. Can't believe I'm saying this, but if the Hawks are gone, I'm probably a Generals fan next year.

IF the Hawks ARe Gone NExt Year That it for me Going to Mcmorran arena you will not see me coming to a other game there if the Hawks Go. I wish I dont got Season Tickets This year. I would of better get it at the door when it was on game day.

I'd have to watch it to check out the caliber of play. Might be better off going over to Sarnia and watch the Sting.
