(TOLEDO, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and Head Coach Nick Vitucci have announced that defenseman Jamie Milam (MY-lum) has been given his release from the team.
The 25-year-old defenseman from Lake Orion, MI played in 16 games for the Walleye, scoring three goals with nine assists to go along with eight penalty minutes.

Offensive defenseman, good PP quarterback. Sure would look nice with Tetrault www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=72394Problem being he probably expects a higher salary, i doubt we could just cut an Oleksy or a Maccarone or something and add him.

Isnt this guy (Jamie Milam) a shoe-in to play for Port Huron??? I mean he is from Michigan and all. LOL

it does seem to be an on going theme lately, bringing in locals. Stan was probably at the thanksgiving high school tourney last weekend scoping out future icehawks, i mean they are from the area and everything so why not give them a shot..right? lol
