In order for the Hawks to have home ice in the 1st round the Hawks have to win the remaining 6 games. So the 6 games left could be a long road for them. 3 games vs. Flint, 1 vs. Gems, and 2 vs. PT.

I actually figured out the same thing. We have to go into this weekend tied with the komets. They play Muskegon tomorrow and they have a home and home series with Dayton this weekend and play QC on Sunday and Friday. It's going to be a difficult road, but it's very doable.

It's gonna be a tough 6 games. I'm hoping they can do it. they gotta play hungry. I'm hoping we can get home ice, because I'm hearing that it's gonna be a 1-1-1-1-1-1 type set up if Ft. Wayne has home ice which would suck.

Print the playoff schedule. In the real world Fort Wayne is 4 points up with a game in hand,5 games out of 7 at home with 5 of their remaining games against the likes of Quad City and Dayton. Port Huron has about the same odds of getting home ice as Computor Junkie promoting tough hockey.

First off learn how to spell and second, it's called being optimistic. I'm not a fair weather fan like some of you on here. The only time I see most of you post on here it's always negative. Nothing ever positive. I've said my piece about how this team is and it's not always rosie, but the fact is real fans know when to have a little faith in their teams. So take you low negative attitude and shove it where the sun don't shine. You got anything else to say to me, I'll be in the booth Sunday.

Wow, now only if the Icehawks could get some of that emotion like computerjunkie just had maybe I won't fall a sleep tonight Why not go down by the tunnel where they come out and tell them how bad you think they suck and boring they are. Maybe you might spark some energy after they punch your lights out.

Wow, Schunker have we hit a nerve? You played for Marysville, so you should like rough, tough, goon like hockey. Why are we getting personal? My post didn't call you out

My post didn't call you out Sorry wrong person, however I give you points for being close. You must be referring to my brother who played Goalie for Marysville until last year. And by the way, they didn't play goon hockey. They did play aggressive though, the difference?? They didn't troll looking for fights, they just stepped up when they needed to.

It was never personal CJ. I just came on here to voice my opinion on what I feel is a lack of entertainment value from our Icehawks. You have your views and I have mine. Go back and look at some of your game tape and tell me how many times we did not finish our checks and let me know how many snow plows or skate aways were made instead of hitting the opponent when given the chance. See how many times our forwards are standing in front of their net and how many of the opposing forwards are standing in front of ours.

See how many times our forwards are standing in front of their net and how many of the opposing forwards are standing in front of ours. I understand and I never took it personal, however if you have to guts to voice your opinion, don't get your panties in a bunch when someone questions it. I'm sure there were a lot of unfinished checks, I'm not going to deny that, but name one game in this entire league and season where you saw 100% of the checks finished. The fact is we won the game. Not only did we win, we killed them. Credit should be given to that, but instead the only thing you could bring up was something negative. The other thing is you started spouting of unrelated stuff about how toughness affects attendance, where you got that relationship from, I have no idea, but you can't argue with the facts I placed out there to refute that claim. Numbers are numbers and numbers don't lie. anyways, I'm done with this thread about that game. It's old news now, it's time to focus on what's ahead. I hope you can take it upon yourself to show a little faith in the team that they can complete the task at hand. If they don't, then they don't, we are still in the playoffs regardless, and until the future plays itself out, anything can happen. As Doc Brown said in Back to the Future, No one's future is written, your future is whatever you make, so make it a good one. I believe that can happen here.
