Well this is game one of 3 in a row against the Generals. With it being crunch time, I'm hoping the guys come around and put the Gens down like we did against QC this past weekend. I'm hoping when I log onto the B2 later on tonight, that I won't be disappointed.

The Hawks need to treat the 6 games as if it were the 7th game of the Finals. Or do we want to sit back and accept that we have the 3rd spot and regardless of home ice we still play Frt. Wayne, and try to help "wink" "wink" the Gens get into the 4th and final spot of the playoffs?

Well, lets see if we come out with a little intensity tonite. I give Flint all the credit in the world for what they have done the last 2 months. No one gave them a chance but the players on that team play for pride and each other something our guys could learn from... There is no reason now for not being ready to play... Players still have to be cut so I expect EFFORT tonite from the Icehawks.

How did Cowan do against Kovalcik? Held his own. Looked like they each got 1 good shot in, lots of short missed punches and wrestling.

Turner stood behind the bench in uniform all game. Yup, we waive Nathe, then dress 1 less player than the roster limit, and 1 of the ones we do dress doesn't see the ice. So why again did we waive Nathe if we were shorthanded?

Turner had back spasms. Kind of hard to play with them.

Not sure why Turner stood on the bench the whole game if he had back problems. Wouldn't common sense dictate that he stay in the lockeroom and take treatment so he could be ready for tonite's game. Maybe he was visualizing hitting players on the ice for the Generals. Wouldn't that be a change!!!!!!
