Just thought I would share a positive story about the team. My girlfriend's son had his 4th birthday on Saturday, he and his sister are huge icehawks fans. So anywho I got him one of those new fancy icehawks jerseys and talked to Larry he said we could come to the practice on Tuesday and he would have the team sign it. So we go to the practice and after practice he went up to the guys walking in and had them sign it then Larry said we could actually go up to the locker room so we got to go sit up there and he got his jersey signed and got a goalie stick signed by almost the whole team. They even gave us some brownies. It was really cool he ended up with like 5 pucks to. Everyone seemed really cool.
Just thought I'd share that now let me go make a thread about lovell so I can get that negativity back lol

ive talked with a lot of the guys (Amelia is in the kids club) and they all seem to be of the same mindset that, hey the kids want to talk with us or they want something signed? they all are more than willing to do so...

The players love it that the kids look up to them.

Almost every player I've ever encountered either through media work or personal interactions has been a very gracious, positive role model. The fact that I think a few of the current Hawks can't hack it as hockey players doesn't mean they're not quality people off the ice. Good story.
