It's funny how I don't see anyone harping on the Offense. Yeah we are out shooting them, but we are doing nothing but making Boucher look good because we can't get something around him. Why not try and set up some plays and cycle the puck to draw him out of position?? Can't even try to win a game without scoring some goals. It kinda sets things off when ur defense/goalie sets you back 3 goals in the first 6 minutes of the hockey game. That's true. I was actually referring to the whole series. I failed to specify that. This game and last game, and definitely game 5, the offense was very light with the exception of them out shooting the Komets. I'm not 100% sure what the shots were for game 5, but I know this game and the last game, we've been having a hard time even getting into the offensive zone. But from what I just saw, the Komets sure aren't having any trouble. It's now 4-0 Komets. I gotta say there probably isn't a miracle in the world aside from half the the Komets team getting the runs, but I don't see that happening either. At least this round went to game 7 instead of ending short like last seasons.

I hear ya they seem to have no plays set up and to beat Boucher you actually have to have an idea and a good play set up to get by him. If you just come up and take slappers on him he just gets confidence cause your rarely going to sneak a lucky one past him. Hes a great goaltender 10 times better then Timmay Haun. and really this series actually hurts 10 times worse then last year because we were so close once again to taking down the Komets atleast last year we knew by game 4 it was pretty much over even though we held out hope.

I hope that dumbsh!t lovell gets interviewed on his big bold prediction in the paper today. I would love an explanation on how he figured we were going to win even though we couldn't score an f'in goal tonight

I agree, as much as I dislike Boucher, he is way better than Haun!! He played a very solid game tonight and they deserved to win tonight and the series. Now with that being said, I hope they lose in the next round. he he he ;D ;D ;D

Do you believe in miracles?
You guys gave us all we could handle. Hope to see you back next season. Do they know if there's going to be hockey in Port Huron next season? Or are they gonna be like Muskegon.? Losing 2 teams would be a big blow to the IHL.

I would love an explanation on how he figured we were going to win even though we couldn't score an f'in goal tonight I do have a problem with him saying that, but the thing is is what do you want the guy to say? He is presented with the question that only has two answers, yes or no. Of course he could've stumbled around the question by answering with one of the if we do this then we will win, but seeing that in the paper just sends the vibes of doubt which you definitely don't want to have going into a game with this magnitude.

That is a good point. You will never see an athlete go into an important game answering a question like that with a no. They are always going to say they will win. Granted there are other ways of saying it. I really didn't get to read how he worded it, but if I were the one answering it I would say, well it's going to be tough being as how Ft. Wayne is a pretty aggressive and intense team, but we want it more and we are gonna do everything we can the win it. That's something I would have said, but then again I just had sometime to think about it, when he could have been caught off gaurd with little time to react. Anyways, ithe season is over, some of you may get your wish and he doesn't return. Only time will tell in the off season.

Lovell said
"The three games that we've been there I've been surprised, but maybe that's because their fans are expecting them to go to the finals and they're waiting for the finals," the Icehawks defenseman said. "They better come (today) because it will be their last game."

"They better come (today) because it will be their last game." I'm not really sure how to look at that. In an athletes standpoint, I've seen players say stuff like that before only to be shown up, but you really can't show any sign of weakness when you are competing in a playoff series. I still think I would have gone with what I posted earlier.
