By all means, I did not intend for my post to be seen as bashing the IHL, but for people to say the NAHL is crap is also on a biased basis of thinking as well. All in all professional sports survives on the basis that young players have a dream to play in the highest level to showcase their talents and be famous and make lots of money, and some just want to play, by trashing these younger leagues, just because of their age, and that it's not a certain level, is basically telling these kids to not even bother and just find something else to do. If every kid took that literally, professional sports would eventually die out because there is no new talent to replenish the old. I do give credit to those players in the IHL, CHL, and ECHL that bust their butts day and night. One player I still keep in mind was Jeremy Tucker. He busted his butt every game. He always gave 100% when he was on the ice. He didn't have many goals, but he was a very rough and tumble player. He still got a lot of crap from some fans who thought he was useless. What's he doing now? I don't believe it's playing hockey. He also got his start in the NAHL. Again mentioning Todd Robinson and Robin Bouchard, both began their careers in Junior hockey. Sure they were in a higher level, but it's still the same precedent. They play to get noticed. That's what these kids in the NAHL are also trying to do. Some will make it, some will not, it's like that in every sport. Many of the kids who don't make it to the big show, will filter out to other leagues like the IHL, CHL, and ECHL as well as foreign leagues and so forth, so remember when you say you would take any of those leagues any day of the NAHL, a good portion came from the NAHL for you to watch.
