so word on the street is that:
A) Whitney was let go. she was making somewhere around $32,000 a year (unconfirmed rumor) and complained about all they wanted her to do...
B) there is only ONE person on staff in the front office to handle everything about the team...
C) there are two 'game day' staff, Cory and Mindy. they run everything during the game and look to me as if they are being spread pretty thin...
D) Julie (i dont know her last name) walked away and pretty much washed her hands in the whole organization. THAT doesnt bode well for the team because i understand she did a lot of good as far as planning and community involvement...
can anyone else speak to this?

Yeah its a money thing. You have know one comming to your games you can't pay the bills. If you don't win and the towns people start talking bad about the organization they can not secure sponsorships. Its a vicious cycle and has put many team out of business the first year.

but was this about money or maybe the F-bombs being dropped (and other issues) at practice/during games by the coaching staff (as alluded to in another thread here) that drove her off...
just wondering what the hell is going on around here. i too am beginning to feel suckered into this whole mess. i got my daughter and i season tickets and she is almost to the point of not wanting to go anymore. if the owners would have taken some FREE advice to put together a FREE cheering team, the kids (that arent dyed in the wool fans) would at least feel more welcome around the arena...
oh well. i probably wont be back next season. i did what a lot of people here were saying back in september; i gave them a chance (actually before the complaining started) and they still have another 19+ games to figure something out...
