Clark is a skater then a fighter.

Ok he can skate I understand that. But what good does that do him if he can't put the puck in the net or generate scoring chances.
I was looking at his past stats and still don't see why he is so impressive to upper league teams. Maybe someone can explain that to me with more hockey knowledge?

Fact is, Nasty Mirasty despite his small stature, although he is 220lbs, is a havyweight and a minor league legend as far as fighting goes. And Neil Clark is just a middleweight.I give him props for not getting killed in it.

Clark was called up simply to finish his checks.
Grand Rapids didn't pick him up to fight guys like Mirasty. Thats why they have Adam Keefe. Clark is a strong skater and hardly ever gets beat. Might not lead to goals in his favor but it doesn't lead to goals in the opponents favor, if he can go out and put a strong shift out his coach doesn't need his first and second line out there all game long. They can actually rest for a little bit while Clark's line is out there. Clark plays a regular shift in the AHL. Name anyone who can hit like Clark who does that and I'll send you a quarter through the mail. They just wanted some more power as Adam Keefe isn't the biggest guy so when he goes to check someone to big...he ends up on his ass. Which Clark doesn't do.

What I would like to see is.....put Clark on a non-roster spot and bring a player in that will contribute to the team, IMO Clark is a big body but hasnt proved to me that he deserves a place on this team. The only place on his record that doesnt have a goose egg is the +/-, and its all a big negative.

That doesnt make any sense he doesnt seem like he is coming back any time soon, free up his roster spot and go get someone while we battle through these injuries.
