Again it was a win and that is the most important thing but I'm seeing things that also have me concerned. The last place team just comes into our barn and outworked us completely for almost 3 periods. Quad City won all the little battles along the boards and probably deserved thme victory. I still see us having to make at least 3 moves. WE DON'T HIT ANYBODY AND ITS OUR HOUSE!

Well said budda. Glad we got the win, but no way QC should score 4 goals on us. No hitting, no emotion, laxidasical (sp?) play. We sure play down to our opponent's level, not sure why. We did get outworked, and are lucky we got the 2 points, and that it didn't hurt us giving up one to the last place team. If we play like this Saturday vs. Muskegon it will be a blowout, and not in our favor.

It was sad that QC had to get 4 goals on us for a last place team.

Remember how many power plays they had too, but they still ended up getting out shot by PH. I think they should be lucky to even get a point out of last night if it wasn't for a couple of nicely snipped goals from them.

Shots on goal are an overrated statistic. First they are kept by the home team we all know how teams pad this stat. Second they had better scoring opportunities then we did Also, they hit 3 goal posts. Russo was kissing the goal posts after the game.

but the best thing is that muskegon got walloped by them 6-1 on new years eve...
i agree, that they had some serious wheels on their team tuesday night and we just kept getting smoked from one end of the rink to the next...
after we tallied 4 nets, i dont know what happened but it was as if we turned off a boring show and let them run amok in the family room...
i think the mallards are better than their record reflects...
